My Most Recent 5 and 1 Star Reads : Top Ten Tuesday

Top Ten Tuesday is a meme created by The Broke and the Bookish.

This weeks theme is My Most Recent 5 & 1 Star Reads. Now I don't really rate books 1 star cause to me that means I hated the book and wouldn't even recommend it to anyone so instead I will be going with 2 star books instead besides the one 1 star book. So without further ado here are my picks for this weeks Top Ten Tuesday.

5 Star Reads

Uglies by Scott Westerfeld
Salt To The Sea by Ruta Sepetys
The Queen by Keira Cass

2 and 1 Star Reads

The Silver Suitcase by Terrie Todd
Magnetic Shift by Lucy D. Briand
Spring Broke by Melody Carlson
Becoming Famous by Natalie Scott
Very Like A Queen by Martin Lake

What have been your most recent 5 star reads?

*Title links will either take you to a review of mine or to the goodreads page when a review is not yet posted.

  1. SALT TO THE SEA! What a heartbreaking book. Whenever I read a WWII book, I tell myself to not get attached to the characters, that something terrible will probably happen to one of them, but it always happens anyways. Great picks!

    1. I feel the same way. Sadly it doesn't work and I always end up getting attached to some of them and end up heartbroken.

  2. Salt to The Sea is going to have to move up my tbr because it seemed like everyone loved it. I read her previous books and really enjoyed them.

  5. Walk on Earth a Stranger - I saw this a lot when it first came out but I don't remember actually reading any of the reviews for it! I keep toying with getting it as I read Vengeance Road recently and I am getting a bit of the 'Western' vibe from this book,(is that right?)and I really want to read a few more female led westerns (I can't seem to find too many of them).

    1. Yes it is and it even has several other strong female characters as well as the story goes on. I loved it and it talked about something that I had never seen be talked about ya historical fiction before. I would definitely say you should read this. I hope to read vengeance road in the next few weeks.
