She knows that Rudolph the red-nosed reindeer was almost definitely a girl.
She knows that the first artificial Christmas trees were made out of goose feathers.
But this Christmas is extra special for Harriet, because four days ago she had her First Ever Kiss.
Now she just needs to work out what's supposed to happen next…

 My Review:

MAY CONTAIN SPOILERS

I was a little bit nervous going into this book if it would be good or not. I was pleasantly surprised and it made me enjoy the characters so much more than I already did.

All wrapped up takes place a few months after Geek Girl which I found to be a nice transition time for Harriet and her family to deal with her now being a somewhat popular model. It also contained the same main characters from the first one as well, which gave use time to get to know these characters so much better and learn small details about them as well.

We start off this book by finding out that Harriet has been kissed and not just by anybody, but by the guy she has been crushing on since her whole life changed. Yes that one. With this comes a problem, Harriet's best friend says she shouldn't call the guy and that he should call her first. (Yes that stupid dating rule again) After several days of Harriet waiting, she eventually gets a call, but not from whom she wanted instead it was from Wilbur who tries to help her out and in a rather smart way if I do say so myself. Of course Harriet didn't get it though and instead he just had to message her the details.

Once Harriet is able to get in touch with the guy she learns that she gave him the wrong number by accident and he has instead been talking to some stranger for the past couple of days and had even set a date with this stranger that he thought was Harriet. After Harriet finds all of this out she goes in to panic mode and tries to get ready in time which of course for her also means learning what exactly to say to please a guy and make him like her more.

Thankfully though her dad and step-mom came in to see what all the commotion was. Once her step-mom finds out what Harriet is planning she stops her and instead gives her a really nice pep talk and reminds her that the guy likes her for her and not for who she might be able to be if she acted differently.

"Firstly, Cinderella's the least cool fairytale heroine ever invented. Secondly, you are not a rule breaker. And thirdly, do you really want to talk to someone who doesn't want to talk to you?" "It's not your job to wear the right thing, or say the right thing, or do the right thing to make a boy like you. It is not your job to be pretty or make a boy feel good about himself." "It is your job" she continues, "to be yourself, and if he likes that they maybe just maybe, if you decide you like him too he can stick around. Am I making myself perfectly, abundantly and permanently clear?"

It wouldn't be a Geek Girl story if Toby Pilgrim wasn't involved. Yes that's right he followed her to her date with the guy and then starts questioning the guy. He actually asked some pretty good questions and made Harriet feel a little bit more comfortable after she heard the answers.

"Hello, I'm Toby Pilgrim, Harriet's stalker, friend and your new lifelong nemesis. I don't think we've been introduced yet."

While I'm not going to mention anything else about the date I will say that it was very sweet even if it was a little cliche a few times, and makes me slightly worried about how Harriet might deal with certain things if they would happen.
