Goodreads Summary:
A bad storm, two canceled flights, stuck in an airport with a hot stranger and the guy who broke her heart... what could go wrong?

After Sari caught her boyfriend Zev cheating on her, their romantic Florida vacation was ruined. She can't get back to NYC soon enough. Unfortunately, mother nature may have different plans. A huge storm is brewing in the Northeast, and flights all over the country are getting canceled—including Sari's. She winds up stuck at the airport for hours. With Zev!

When another stranded passenger (a hot NYU guy) suggests a connecting flight to Boston, Sari jumps at the chance. But when her mom freaks out about her traveling alone, she has no choice—she has to include Zev, and somehow survive being trapped with the guy who broke her heart!

 My Review:
"You are smart, talented, beautiful, kind- don't let one foolish boy bring you down."

Last year I read My New Crush Gave To Me by Petroff and really enjoyed it and couldn't wait to read her next book. Aiport, Exes, and Other Thing's I'm Over takes place over spring break, and we follow Sari who is a musician getting ready to go to college and hopefully make it big in the music world. Sari though in the meantime is dealing with some relationship problems with her boyfriend Zev, and instead of having a fun spring break spends most of the time wallowing and feeling sorry for herself because of what has happened (by the way I was expecting it to be so much worse). Which is understandable, but I was wanting some more interaction with her grandma or the guy (Fitz) she met at the pool.
We do get to see what happened, and her best friend (Trina) who is just awesome and helps her deal with everything. We also get to see a grandma, and caring parents, and realistic realities of preparing to go to college.

Overall I really did enjoy this book. I've been in a bit of a reading slump recently, and an easy lightish read was exactly what I needed. I did find myself wanting more especially from a lot of the side characters ( Trina and Fritz). We focus purely on Sari and Zev and their relationship and what has caused some problems. While interesting, does get a bit repetitive at times, especially when other things start happening that seems to be far more important (in my opinion).

"I know you still love me as much as I love you. That doesn't go away just because you want it to."

I did have a problem with how Zev wasn't giving Sari space when she asked for it. I get wanting to tell his side of the story, but ya gotta give her some time.

"How about you listen to me. You have not let up on me all day, you are everywhere. I can't think straight, Zev."

For me, the ending of this book did fall a little flat. While sweet, it just wasn't really what I was hoping for considering what we had seen from the past 100+ pages. I do want to see what Petroff writes next as I still really did like certain parts of this book.
P.S.  I'd love to see a story involving more of Fritz or one following Trina to see what she gets up to when she does go to NYU.
