Favorite Mystery Novels : Top Ten Tuesday

Top Ten Tuesday is a meme created by The Broke and the Bookish.

This week is a pre-Valentine's Day week, making it a free week again. I don't really read any pure romance books, so I didn't want to recommend any romance books as I don't read them. So instead I decided to go with Mystery Novels as they are starting to slowly become some of my favorite type of books to read. So without further ado here are my Favorite Mystery Novels.

Gone Missing by Linda Castillo
This books is a 4th in a series and I've only read one other one in it besides this one. But I found this one the most interesting and I liked the story line a little more.

All The Truth That's In Me by Julie Berry
I was really unsure going into this one, but I ended up loving it and it was a really easy read, it was also in-verse if you like reading those types of books.

In Bitter Chill by Sarah Ward
Was such a captivating story and was very well done for being from a debut author. (2015 debut) I can't wait to see what Ward writes next.

The Girl Who Was Supposed To Die by April Henry
It was terrifying to think that this could happen, and no one would believe you, and in fact your parents would probably think you were dead as well.

Confessions Of A Murder Suspect by James Patterson
This was my first book by James Patterson and I really hope to read the rest of this series later on this year, because I flew through this one.

Grave Intent by Alexander Hartung
This is a German mystery novel, that I wasn't expecting to like a whole lot just because it did have to be translated to English and you can lose some of the important things in translation. None of that happened with this book (in my opinion) and I ended up loving it and I can't wait to see if there will be a third book. (Hoping to find the first one in English soon.

Breaking Beautiful by Jennifer Shaw Wolf
This was a book that was hard to read at times do to it deal with abuse. But I feel like it did show the lengths people will go to hide it, even after the fact. It also shows how the people around them also choose to ignore the fact.

The Naturals by Jennifer Lynn Barnes
This is a book about teens that have learned how to manipulate and analyzing things around them in order to now solve crimes.

The Good Girls by Sara Shepard
This is a second book in the perfectionist doulogy and I loved it so much more then the first, and I wasn't really expecting it to take the turn it did. I kind of want a third book as well.

The War Against Miss Winter by Kathryn Miller Haines
I loved the description of this book and what it was about, and I loved the subjects that were in it. I did think it could have been a little shorter though and been just as good.
